These are hybrid objects that we created from our "precious objects". They are AlliVivi cultural objects and they feature in our upcoming animation.

Small Paintings

In the future we are thinking of doing something like this.

These paintings are by Alouette.

Small paintings focusing on specific body or facial features. Arranging them like puzzle pieces which the viewer can must fit together.

Here is the black on white symmetry/asymmetry shoot. In the design world, symmetry is really big in terms of prints, at the moment. As in Coldplay's song Low we are living in symmetry most of the time.

Dress Up

We did a photo shoot wherein we dressed up differently , but similar to an extent; showing our divergences through dress.

Pink

Somehow, when everything started coming together, we became aware that our work had a colour theme. That is white, off-white, pink and black!

We had these pink dresses made for a photo shoot wherein we wanted to play with symmetry and asymmetry. It didn't make it to the final cut however. We likes the contrast of the black cloths on the white background better.

The Daily Grind

The first time we tried out our new photo studio.

We had meant to take a photo every morning, but we never got further than day two...

An interesting thought: in the first two photos we are dressed differently--can people still see that we are twins? in the second set of photos we are dressed kind of the same--can people tell us apart?
